So, wow. Wow. That was some drama, wow. Apparently I am taking it upon myself to talk like Bartok from Anastasia, idk why. The important thing here is everyone probably needs a place to come together to discuss things that went down and also figure out how everyone that saw/heard/was impacted by things are going to react and deal with...everything. There's been more than one bit of drama for some characters, and with the festival and Eight's Christmas coming up, it's a good time to figure out where everyone is. I fail at wording things, I am so so sorry.

Let's discuss and plot and handwave and do all sorts of awesome things.

She's just....done.

Done with the lying and the hiding of shit to the younger people. She didn't expect her conversations with the Master to cause so much drama buuut there it is. Now they all have to deal with it. After the explosion the TARDIS called the younger Docs in order to avert their attention away from Eleven because seriously, he's had some crap piled on him lately granted some of it is his own fault but she's protective of all her Thieves so yeah...

After the giant explosion she & Eleven found out that Alice had been friends with Tom fucking Riddle and that just is terrible. More shit happened between Snape&Eleven&Alice and she stepped in to hopefully calm people down. That's when she told Snape about the Master.

Because the Master is bad.

She essentially wants to form an alliance with the good HP guys and man the DW cast has the numbers to help keep an eye on Voldemort and Barty.

We can handwave her discussing this with everyone sort of individually/in small groups. And we can handwave building snowmen and going down to the Highwind to have talks with her. If anyone wants to actually play this out, we can make it happen.

But basically she's decided to fuck it all. She's going to eventually tell them all the truth about Gallifrey. Sometime in January probably. Everyone has to attend this get together - no exceptions. You can all suck up your emotions long enough to listen to her.


IN THE MEANTIME....

She will be attending the festival and helping people set up stuff. If anyone needs incentive to go to Eight's party, she's still willing to drag them to it.

Also...

Little!Jamie from the Rise of the Guardian cast seriously would have called all eight Doctors to ask them to help out decorating the welcome halls with Christmas lights that dance to music. WHICH WE CAN HANDWAVE or I can really do it. Whatever you want.

Also and I am sorry this for this being a terrible present idea, but Jamie got some TARDIS colored fabric in Utgard a million years ago and has the idea of making the TARDIS and Alice some matching handkerchiefs out of it - like the TARDIS's would be blue with white trim and Alice's would be white with some of the blue trim. And he can repair bagpipes so the sewing won't actually be too horrible. Sound ok?

And Brax told Harry (where the Master could see so he'll probably assume that's where the HP cast got their info) and they had a quick discussion pointing out the flaw in Barty pretending he's Ten too.

And he'll probably be subtly trying to take things off the TARDIS' plate as he is That Guy in both Gallifrey and Benny and has more experience in reassuring folks that EVERYTHING'S COOL, even when it isn't. Less in a 'you can't handle this' way and more in the happening to have similar goals way, but being aware that he's by extension helping her.

He may open up to her a bit, if she starts off, due to the similarity of their roles and concerns. "This Doctor is so not dealing well, ugh!" -> "IKR? This one's doing badly too. So frustrating!" -> ??? -> profit?

He may get her a lamp hat for Christmas. Because police box.

Honestly, the TARDIS will welcome it. Because god the cast got so huge and she can't be everywhere at the same time. Not only is stuff happening in the cast but also with her daughter and the Doctor & Alice are pretty much on equal ground for getting her attention. omg, she loves someone as much as the Doctor it's a miracle

Clara will probably last another couple of weeks before she goes to the TARDIS and unloads all of her upset about everything. She's also probably going to approach the TARDIS about preparing some Christmas music piano duets they can do at Eight's party, complete with them singing to distract from the fact they don't play the piano all that well (or really at all, in Clara's case).

That is perfectly fine. The TARDIS can handle the drama better than some others at the moment. Ffffft yes. The most terrible duets ever but they'll have fun doing it.
