Eight is staying in real Asgard, and will be a wreck the whole time. And to make things worse, he's voting to smash the mirrors and get them back quickly, even though it kills them. He doesn't trust the gods to manage anything without making it worse. And there are things worse than death.

Eight should come stay in the other Who house with the TARDIS and Rory. At least for the beginning of it before they all vote for different things.
