April Event(s): River/Jack body swap & River turning into Mels

Hello, people. This is Yumi bringing you two Who-cast events for this month.

You may have seen me and the wonderful Raven talking about this on Plurk already and I am happy to announce that this is the month when it finally happens: River and Jack will switch bodies and nothing will be able to stop them. As if that's not bad enough once this curse is over River will turn into Mels.

Here is how this is planned to go:

The curses will happen back to back, each lasting two IC days, starting on the 2nd and lasting til the 9th. That means right til the game wide event happens.

For 2nd - 5th April River will be in Jack's body and vice versa. And since they are horrible people they will not let the others know and act like the other as much as they can.

The log for this will go up asap and will be separated into 3 threads:

Thread 1: Closed to Jack & River, will find them waking up and noticing that they have swapped bodies. They will then teach each other to act the way they usually do.

Thread 2 & 3: Open; one each for people to run into River (here)and Jack respectively.

This was originally planned to end with River and Jack assaulting Ianto, which gets posted (accidentally) to the network. Eleven was then meant to come to the rescue and get dragged into it, too. (Toss, Terese, please get back to us on this whether it's still going to happen or not! =D)

Just when everything seems to have come back to normal River wakes up as Mels on the 6th. She will stay that way til the 9th and have no recollection of Asgard, River Song and anything else. Her canon point will be just before she is shot by Hitler. And yes, she will try to kill the Eleventh Doctor.

Unless anyone has any objections, Jack is taking Mels in for the duration of that curse. He doesn't want Eleven in any danger, plus with the body swap having literally JUST ended, he feels kind of responsible for her. XD

It should work out, since they're in a four person house, and Jack and Ianto share a bedroom, so they should have a spare room. :3

Awww, Jack. Responsible? That is so very very nice to hear.

She will maybe not even cause you a lot of problems. Maybe. At least she did not get to bring her gun, so here's hoping. ;-D

I'm still up for the thing! And Eleven will have no trouble leaving Mels in Jack's care. He might protest a bit for the sake of it because he feels a responsibility for her too, but if Jack insists enough, and considering he is rather fond of not dying, it can definitely be a thing.
